No , you would not pay that much because you don't live here ...lol
The Aussie dollar is not far from the US buck , but in this case it has very little to do with the value of the dollar ...
The 1000F's just cost that much here ....
Ask Pete what they cost over in S/Africa.?...
I think it is a supply and demand thing
...we do not have that many come up for sale here.

I emailed the guy through Ebay just to say it was a nice bike and he claims no CCT noise so who knows. I bought mine site unseen and was pretty happy with the outcome. Mine has the CCT rattle but most here do to. The km are up there Pete but like Steve said, you'll pay that here cause that seems to be the money they are bringing. I paid over what I wanted to for mine but I reckon with these bikes thats gonna happen if you really want a thoroughbred like the 1000F. Cheers
