Hi fellow members . I was going though craigslist searching for anything related to my 93 CBR1000F and found a seat for a CBR1000 , & after contacting the person selling it for a pittance of $35.00 I found out its off a 88 model CBR1000 . I looks like it has been re-upholstered with velvet top plush material . I am not familiar with the 1st gen seats so you 1st gen owners will have to check out the photos on the ad and determine if this is a correct style seat for a CBR1000 of that yr ..1988 .
I'm just passing the info on as it won't fit my bike ,, and thought this would be a great addition to a 1st gen owners parts collection as its getting harder to find good conditioned parts for our beloved CBR1000's . The posting is in Gainesville Florida . If someone buys this seat ,,( HONESTLY) please respond to this thread and let us know so that the thread can be closed .

Thank you for the confirmation raiden . $35.00 is cheap for a complete seat , is what I thought. Buying one from corbin seats would run 300+ dollars .
Oh, to let everyone know,,please don't go calling the woman (Beth) late in the night . I don't wish to have angry e-mails from her from people waking her up at night , so please keep that in mind (Time zone). I don't know if she will ship or not outside of the U.S.A. or ship at all , she's pretty much local to me (70 miles) . I didn't think to ask .
