Thank you! Yeah I noticed your bike had purple too!
I like your bike. If it was mine, I would definitely modify the rear, swap it out with something a little less boxy by modifying the subframe if necessary and installing a newer tail. It just doesn't 'flow' to me.

Don't take offense! I'm just giving my two cents, which may not equal anything.
You bike is is excellent condition and looks great! If you win, you surely deserve it! Just throwing a thought out there.

It will be fun for sure. I'm excited!

Yeah...history of these CBR has come a long way. 1993-94, most of us only carry a beeper for communication. Most of us don't even have a computer....I remember my cellular phone was the size of a brick...if phone breaks down, you can keep it for self defense purposes...LOL...maybe thats why the tail is boxy with a big trunk, to hold our beepers & cell phones & cassette players....no IPod...lol...No worry, you are not the first to comment of the this models tail section being boxy...Actually, i understand 93-99 tail section is direct swap...with very minor mod, but not the later model 929 954. Reason I've never had the thought of making this swap is because the oem fairing scheme....very tough to match.

Your flames look sweet bro...did you DIY airbrush or had it done...

I'm not that young (30) so I recall walking around with my walkman cassette and watching betamax videos. lol

The Flames were on the fairings which are aftermarket. Then the seats were taken to an upholstery shop and redone using memory foam and wrapped in the purple/black material. More forgiving on longer rides now, butt doesn't get so numb. The rim tape was applied and I don't know if you can see it in the pics, but it reads, "CBR 600 F4i" for a more custom and identifying look.
Was gonna change out the led backlight to purple in my instrument cluster, but was turned off by all of the desoldering/soldering of the many leds it has.
I am about to install a 114 purple led glow kit tucked away in the fairings.
Tempted to install the angel eyes, I found a multicolor set that has purple so I may do it soon as well.
