Selling my mustang today, and trying to **** off the wife as much as possible, and might be going to look at a 954rr.

Whats the estimate on the worth of the bike? And what is the piece under the taillight that sticks out? Looks like a rear fender but it goes straight back?

 

KBB is $4200,Don't know what that piece is.

 

I'm very leery of any ad that doesn't have an asking price. If he won't give you a price, make a very low offer & go from there. Of course, that's assuming you've verified the bike's mechanical condition from top to bottom.

Also, where exactly is the bike registered?...NY or NC. If its registered in NC & you want to register in NY, you need to be really sure that its a clean title.

 

That thing must be something he added, but for why I have no idea, never seen anything like it. Nice low miles, looks pretty clean except for the missing mirror. Check it out in person and offer $3500 cash, maybe go up to $38-3900 but never give full KBB value. Of course thats assuming the title is clean and it runs strong.

 

it looks to me as if its a secondary mud flap ( rear hugger/fender ). as is he's tryin to keep water and road grime off the undertail that is suceptible to getting hit from the tire spray. not sure, but would be my guess.
