Cool What is Vapor Lock?

Yes, I do know what it is, but not too long ago, I didnt. I have never had real personal experience with this, so, can someone explain what the symptoms are, and how to easily identify, and fix the problem, or maybe a personal experience that can be shared with us all.

i've never had an issue with that on my bike....

but it'd probably start to run like sh*t or stall, and you'd hear the pump trying to re-prime the lines

Vapour lock happens when a bike gets hot and the fuel in the carb/fuel line vaporises before it should and the bike won't start. It happens here sometimes on really hot days when the bike's been standing in the sun.
In essence it means the bike isn't getting a correct fuel/air mixture and won't run right. Too lean.
Hope this helps

Yep... the Bike can crap out on you while your riding too... but super easy to fix... just open your gas tank, let it breath and release the pressure and the bike should start right up after
