Does anybody have a colour code or anything else for our 954 frames ? Trying to describe a '' sort of dark (ish) grey colour '' to a paint shop is not easy ? Thanks

Oh and why don't honda do an offical code for this or make a touch up pen for it ?

why do you ask? if you're going to paint the whole thing - powdercoat it instead. it'll last much longer and it'll look just as good. i know you're really into keeping it exactly like the factory had it, but a nice black or dark grey powdercoat would look just as good, if not better.

 

Thanks for those colour links, just noticed of course that they are all USA or Canada, i am unsure if paint can be sent overseas... i will ask though, nothing like this in the bloody uk !!!!

 

Check this site Motorcycle Paint & Scooter Paint by RS Bike Paint. Honda Vespa Harley Suzuki BMW Yamaha Kawasaki. They show different colors for US vs euro 954's so I am not sure if the bikes have the same frame color.

 

Cheers for the RS paints link, i have tried them before..... no luck, they do not really have any codes for frame or wheel colours, just panels etc. I just don't think we are as far forward as the US in regards this..... i did ask and they can not ship the paint pen from the USA due to it be dangerous !!! What a world we live in !

Now they look interesting, i have just got back from work (on my beautiful Blade) and they are closed, but i will give them a call on Monday. Thanks for that, i will quote the name of the paint colour given by the Colourite site (Mat Axis Grey) and see if its the same in the uk. I will get there in the end, i just want the right colour as adding a touch up '' blob '' of paint to the frame can look awful if its not exact. I will let you know how i go.
