Default what do you think about aftermarket seats?

Well I just bought a $259 corbin seat for a mortorcycle I haven’t ever heard run yet. I am deployed in Iraq and it has been a year or so since I was on my old 954 before I sold it. I loved the riding position, but hated the stock seat, so I opted to get a aftermarket seat. First I looked at sargent seats and decided $400 was a bit too much, then I went to corbins website and custom built a seat for my bike.. Or at least the materials on the outside. So what do you think about aftermarket seats if you have one? Is corbin good stuff? I hope so..
Thanks ricky

And btw I know the bike runs.. It checks out I have a buddy that works at a bike shop that is looking after it for me
