i am not sure what countrys the 954 was sold in. But i have been told that the us version of the 954 is restricted, due to regs. blah blah.. my question is how and in what way are the usa version of the 954s restricted? what is different in my 954 and a japan 954?

I thought they were the same.

 

The California version was slightly restricted because of emission regs, but not the rest of the US versions. Same as all the other "Fireblades".

 

^^^ Tis true, Cali is the only one that has restrictions.
