Default turn signal issue

So i went through inspection today. and i was failed using the same setup that i used 2 yrs ago through inspection. they said that my turn signals were blinking too fast and r supposed to be in 1 sec intervals. so i called a local shop asking what to do. they said get a relay switch. so i bought one at there shop for $28 only to find out when i got home and looked that the product online that it doesnt work for the 954. its a rumbleconcept.com honda led easy plug relay. so im going to go return this tomorrow. should i just buy non LED signals would that fix it? ive seen stuff online saying you can plug one of these relays into the 954 but i dont even know where the stock relay is on the bike. if anyone can help id appreciate it. thanks

The easiest way to fix your problem is to replace with normal bulbs and not LED.954 relays are integrated in the instrument cluster.

you just need a resistor to slow the LEDS

Get the relay from: model FLFS-1-FLAT

LED Lights, Bulbs & Accessories - SUPER BRIGHT LEDS

LED Flasher Unit LF1-S-FLAT Specifications

Your relay is located behind the headlight.....signal & listen for the clicking sound. Thats your OEM,

the FS-1-FLAT relay do not make any sound. But it's should plug right in....to be sure, you can pull your OEM out first and check connector....don't buy from ebay @ $26...

get it from Superbright for $11, or kneedragger for $13

Ok, here it is...I found the direct link:

Super Bright LEDs - Electronic LED Flashers Specifications

look at the bottom, the second one.

#LF1-S-FLAT

your OEM relay is 3 pin - across....most HONDA & YAMAHA is same.

pull your OEM and look at it....

I order this one from Superbrightled on Friday, and package showed on Monday!!!

It fits my 94' CBR 900RR , and it also fits a members here with s 1000RR.....so likely it will fit your 954.

Should take 2 minutes to install

So it is possible to install led lights to 954 :P
I did buy these led lights to front and these resistors.

I did try those lights and resistors to accessory 12V battery. They worked.
Then same thing to bike, no blinking at all.
I did noticed that turn signal light in the screen is blinking normal speed but when I taked the led light off then screen signal light flashed twice as fast than normally.
Like when you have a broken bulb then signal light flash faster.
So I did install lights right but need that relay and that`s why led lights didn`t blink ?

I have to buy that same relay, but isn`t orginal relay integrated some where ?
So if I buy that reley how I connect that ?

If you buy the relay, you don't need those resistors...

Just pull out your OEM relay out and plug the LF1-S-FLAT relay in...it's direct connect.

Here's the link if you want running lights

https://cbrforum.com/forum/how-mecha...-84998/page14/

But one thing I must mention is that if you go all led, meaning front & rear...then you indicator may blink dim. That's what happen to me, so I need to replace a led bulb for the indicator on cluster.

I have searching more information about this led issue.
Turn signal relay is really integrated in the instrument cluster so it`s not just plug and play thing.
If I want led signal work I have to cut two wires somewhere and plug that new relay to those two wires.

Dam this is hard .
Lucky you, you can just take old relay out and put new relay there
If I get those led lights work I will post here how I done it !
