Thanks, its starting to grow on me. All the mods, upgrades and suspension work he did to it make it so much fun to ride. The twin's torque is really starting to keep it interesting, on every ride I'm finding out how wide the power band is on this engine. I get off work every morning at 8am from 3rd shift, don't get home from riding until 2-4 pm since the day I bought it. Its like a super charged harley motor on a sportbike frame and suspension. And its a lot lighter than a stock sv..right under 400lbs. Its about to loose some more wieght too. It came with two pipes, think I'm going with the carbon for weight savings.

Congrats on the new bike,I have a 650s as well as my 954's and I actually prefer to ride the sv on tighter roads because on the torque.I could only imagine what the SV1000 is like to ride.

Even with the full exhaust, suspension work and other expensive upgrades, I still miss the inline four action and the sound. As soon as I sell this I'm getting a FI z1000 or fz1000. This sv has a lot of punch down low that will make it stand up and it handles better than most bikes I've ridden.

I'm gonna take it on a road trip to deals gap and gatlinburg area next week maybe I'll see a different side of the bike there that will make me keep it, idk.

Oh, that bike will be one hell of a ride with the torque and low rpm power there. Have fun, take pictures!

I'm trying to like it. Taking it to the hills, maybe it'll get my attention in the tight corners but, as of now I'm so bored on this bike..the v-twin...its just not me. I'm not even excited about going on the trip. Its a good bike but, I'm Ready for a hornet 919 or a fz1. That kawa z1000 seems like it has no wind protection or big enough fuel tank to tour. I've been monitoring CL.

Know anyone wanting a good 07 SV1k? Super clean for 3500? 27k miles and ready to ride.
