tail section decals
Bought my bike a lil over a year ago and the bike wasn't even broken in yet. But during its ride from Cali to Wis. it had a rear tail section decal got a very small scuff in it. So..... over this winter I bought the last remaining tailsection stickers that are for my bike color correct from Honda. Yeah I could of bought reproduction but I didn't want to be unhappy for some reason with the Product they'd send me. So anyways does anyone have pointer's on installing the new ones ??? I just don't want to screw it up.

Heat Gun and lots of patience. I dont think the tail's sticker is clearcoated. The heat should get it to release. Just work that sticker a little at a time. To apply the new one. Use a "wet" method. grab a small spray bottle. Put a couple of drops of liquid soap in it. Then fill it with water. Spray the application site liberally. Then apply the sticker. The soapy water should let you slide the sticker around until its in just the right position. Apply pressure and some more heat until it stays put. The water-soap solution will evaporate.(Very Similiar to Film Tinting windows) Good Luck!

no, it's not cleared. if you don't have a heat gun handy, the wife's/girlfriend's hair dryer will suffice.
