I guess I'll take it in to get resprung cuz I've never done this either I always newit would help but I've never tried anything
should you get the forks resprung-do at the same time that you are having the fork
oil replaced
also-with the correct spring tension for you weight-expect a completely different
bike-and i mean this in a good way!!-also do the same for the r/shock

You guys that have not messed with your suspension have no idea what you are missing! That is one of the first things I have got to do to my bikes! I love talking to people who ride an have never touched their compresion or rebound settings. Some people tell me " It is just fine the way it is, I dont need it adjusted"... How ignorant! I have adjusted bikes that were brand new for my buddies. You would crap your pants if you saw how uneven some of them came strait from the shop! My buddies new gsx had the compresion cranked up on the left fork and down on the right! If you would even check them and make sure they are even you might just help yourself out.

I typically dial in my comp and rebound before going out on the track every time. The settings change constantly, so I have to read the tire (check out catalyst reaction suspension) and give the bike some pushes and pulls and twiddle ***** before going out every time. Write the stuff down too. You won't remember what your settings are. And double check (turn the ***** all the way in and back out the specified number of clicks, don't just back it out a click on both sides) if you've put more than a few hours in.

I'd post my settings but they constantly change. For me, I found my bike to be grossly undersprung from the factory, and with the stock springs I crank in all the preload I can. Another little helper is the zip tie (loose enough to slide) around the fork tube (lower) to help you know how much travel you are using up (try to use up most of your travel). Start off with the sportrider recommended settings, but remember to adjust for temperature and conditions (typicall dial in more compression and rebound). If I remember right my forks were last at 3 turns out on compression and 2.5 turns out on rebound (I know - should've been way stiff/slow), I can't remember my shock, but maybe those were bad settings as the crash truck had to bring my bike in from T3 infineon. PS - Warm day
