I have one of those tools I took from work, you hammer the top and it spins to break the bolt?

Ok, I went and bolt a Black & Decker screw extractor set. Never used one of these before. But it tells me to use certain drill bits to drill into the top of the screw. Then use a certain size extractor to get the screw out. Kinda scared here. Don't wanna drill and be left with nothing but a stump of a screw. Then I would be really screwed!!! Anybody got any experience with these??

I used one to remove my ignition from the triple tree.Just make sure you get the extractor straight in, or you may break it. It happened to me trying to twist it out. It was hell to get off from that point because I couldnt drill through the broken extractor. Take your time, and attempt to make wise decisions.
