Smile Steering damper or stabilizer

Hmmm---which is better, i see one goes into the neck of the steering head and the other connect to the frame & handle bar/fork---which does a better job---damper or stabilizer----thanks

they're the same thing... ones rotary, the other one is a hydraulic one. if you dump your bike, the rotary one will be completely fine in most cases, however the hydraulic one (frame to handle bar) will most likely be trashed. i'd go for a scotts rotary damper.

Have Scotts (which is a rotary) on my 954RR and my 600RR. Love 'em. Definately stabilizes the headshake.

I put a GPR on mine worked great!
I also have a Scott's on my SV (track bike) also works great.
IMO The GPR is more user friendly.
