Default NEW MAP..... kinda pissed.

So i downloded the "yoshi full exhaust with stock or modified air filter" map, and it feels like crap... My first map was a "49 state legal tune" by a dude named kyle.(think it was a custom map) I kept the old map just in case and im puttin it back in tomorrow. Second rearused to power up the front and now it wont even lift.- has a bit of a stumble till 4k. Anyone have a simular issue when changing maps? I need to find a map that works better. First map has a few problems. Im running a aftermarket full header, 4-2-1 collecter and a yoshi r&d pipe (cut down 6") pc3 usb, bmc filter, intake mod, exhaust mod, and no o2 sensor... Any help or a map would be greatly appreciated... Does altitude affect the map all that much? Im at bout 2000 feet, if it helps. Thanks again.

you really shouldn't just download a map from another bike and upload it to yours and expect good results... it's hit or miss. the only way to get the best results for your bike is to get it tuned at a dyno shop

Im gettin it done in a few days... the guy tells me that all of my fi lighrs need to be off or the bike goes into a closed loop and wont accept a tune properly. He cant tune it with the fi light on. If i put my servo motor back on and dont attach any cables (nothing to attach to anyhow) will the light go out and let me tune the bike?.. he has done alot of these bikes and says it would be a waste of money to tune it with the fi light on.. ANYONE hear anything simular? I need help wit this. Can i dyno tune with the FI light on?

that all depends on if you turned the servo motor.I left mine in but disconnect the cables and was told not to disturb the pully when disconnecting the cables from theservo or it would trigger the fi light

i just got mine done when i put the full ack exhaust on when i went to get it tuned the first shop i went too said they wouldnt do it, said our bikes are too much of a pain in the *** and isnt worth the money too him to deal with the head ache, anyway i woulnd up hookin up with some mad mechanic working out of his garage he worked wonders with it and cost me half of what the shop would i have no idea what he did with my servo but i have none of the faults or lights anymore and she runs like a champ as soon as i look at the throttle she wants to take off so shop around make sure they arent just goin to download some **** and charge u a fortune

the dyno tune would cost me $250 for a custom map... the exhaust valve and housing are removed completly- its a sato header and collector and tube wit a yoshi R&D (short) pipe. Has anyone dynoed with a FI code before? What do they say?

The oddball combo n shorty can will make it nearly impossible to expect sumone elses map to work well on you bike.
