Default steel rear sprockets - where to buy?

Does anyone know where to find a steel rear sprocket in either a 46 or 47 tooth for use with a 530 chain? I have found them in aluminum but I cant seem to find any steel rear sprockets with more than 45 teeth. I dont want to go aluminum because of the problems that others have had on these forums with stripped teeth and shorter wear life. Thanks in advance for any info on this.

I checked out their site but there was no online catalog so I guess I will just have to give them a call.

Anyone else know where to get these?

yeah man steel is better. But if you can't get what you want with steel you might need to go aluminum. Sorry to say. I'm not much in going larger in the rear sprocket. Why not go down in the front? Or have you done that already?

If u can't get a steel sprocket from them you're next best bet will be Thrust sprockets. They use a very high quality aluminum, better then vortex.

I dont want to go smaller on the front sprocket because I have read on here of issues with the chain rubbing the swingarm when going with a smaller front. Whether this is truly a problem, im not sure. For peace of mind though Id like to just go up on the rear. Thanks though I may have to go aluminum if nothing else...

My buddy and I both have -1 on the front of the 954. 6,000 miles and no signs of rubbing. Keep your chain adjusted and I dont see that problem arising. Sprocketspecialist makes steel sprockets too.

Thats interesting, I wouldnt mind doing that if its problem free like you say.I can get a 15 tooth front and 45 tooth rear in steel for less than $70 for the pairat sprocketspecialists.com

Anyone else using the 15/45 combo without any issues?

For over 20k miles my man, never an issue, and trust me i beat the s*%t outa my bike. Heck if you want i have a really low milage one i can sell ya for a 530, $20 shipped. p.m. me if interested. If you do go rear alum though, the only one i have ever had probs with is vortex, i have used others and never a problem.
