starter valve

Default starter valve

Anyone ever have any trouble with thier starter valve (choke) sticking or not closing all the way?

Nope. Didnt even know we had one. If there is and not just a rich condition created by the computer then it probably is an electrical solenoid that needs replacing.

u know it's fuel injected right....what symptoms/problems are u having

My engine is running way too rich and fouling plugs, will not run right and goes through way too much fuel. There is a "starter valve" as the manual calls it which acks as a choke when the engine is cold. it is activated through the cooling system when the enginecoolant warms up this is supposed to back off and cut the fuel off.

Find it, test it, and replace it if it's not working. If you don't know where to look beyond that, you should take it to a professional Honda dealer.
