Hi guys, I just ordered a Spy 5000M alarm off ebay and it just got here. I read here and there that people are pretty much having issues with installing it and after reading more I noticed that there's pretty much a hundred ways to screw it up.
My question is, did anyone here install something like that and can give me a detailed guide to what to splice and where. On my last motorcycle I had major problems with the electrical systems so you can understand my fear.
As a last resort I think I will go to a certified electrician, but I think it would be best if I do the work based on a detailed guide because most repair shops are not motorcycle specific and might do more harm than good.
My 954 is a 2002 european model if that helps.
