Just wondering what are the recommended plugs for the 954.

SPARK PLUG (IMR8C-9H) if u have a advanced auto parts by you or your local auto shop MIGHT have them for cheaper, cause i know dealerships sell them for 18 dollars a piece, u can get them for 9 at a auto part store

straight out of the service manual:

Standard: IMR9C-9H (NGK) VUH27D (DENSO)

Optional : IMR8C-9H (NGK) VUH24D (DENSO)

I imagine those are both Laser Iridium plugs driber, do you know what the difference is between them? Do they have different gaps?

i beleive one plug is colder than the other, if im correct the lower the number the colder the plug, for instance he listed 8's and 9's the 8's would be colder, a colder plug is better to a certain point, basically it depends on how ur setup looks.

NGK iridium. CR9EHIX-9 should be the number if I'm not mistaken.

Cheaper than the Densos and just as good.

No gapping necessary on an iridium plug.
