would you guys rather have iridium plugs or change out multi-ground copper plugs more frequently??...i know that Honda calls for iridium plugs...but new plugs are always better than old plugs...the copper are alot cheaper too

 

advance auto sells the iridium ngk for 8bucks apiece. same ones honda charges$30 for.

 

well...copper is always gonna conduct electricty better than iridium...however the copper plugs do not last nearly as long as the iridium plugs...im not sure if anybody else has noticed...but the tips on the iridium plugs seem to be very fragile

 

what i dont get is if you talk to anybody at honda they tell you that you can ONLY use iridium plugs. i dont get this!!?? is there any explanation or are they just trying to make $$$$$$$[sm=dontgetit.gif]

 

trying to make money... you can use wahtever you want.. but i also go to advanced to buy the sparkplugs. dealership up here charges almost 20.. i get them for 9 at advanced.... dealerships are such a waste of money

 

go with copper or silver sparkplugs .. platinum and iridium hold up better under wear and tear but dont conduct electricity as well. search nology if your looking for more info..
