Default Seat & pegs

I’m a tall guy 6’5, do you think buying a “thicker” aftermarket seat would decrease knee bend, also though about 1in lowering pegs but the idea of that kinda scares me tbh, would buying a riser kit help if I do get lowered pegs to make up for the difference?

Yes do following:

1. thicker seat padding, many aftermarket seats are made to lower seat-height for short riders. But can be customised
2. lower foot-pegs
3. more rear preload to raise rear-end

If I buy a rising link, to further raise the rear end, should I look into risers for the bars as well to keep from having so much forward lean?

Sure, higher bars will balance out higher back end.

Maybe you'll want to look at bikes that have all these mods built into their design? Many ADV type bikes are set up like this. Try some out at dealers and sit on them to see how it fits.

I like going fast too much and already own an 03 954, also enjoy my wheelies for my feelies. I’m not ridiculously uncomfortable as I have shorter legs, but just looking for ways of helping myself out a bit
