Default Royal Purple

I just bought my second 954 and when i got this one the guy just put Royal purple in it. Should i stick with that or should i switch to another brand?

royal purple is good stuff. you can change it your keep it.. doesnt matter. not gonna hurt anything whether u change it your not

If the royal purple is for cars then you should change it. If it is for m/c then it will be ok. Car oil has friction modifiers in it that will eventually cause the clutch to start slipping.

Ya that's what i don't know.. so since he put a synthetic in there should i switch back to regular oil or run some other sythetic

There are synthetic oils for motorcycles. I'm not sure if Royal Purple has some or not. Maybe someone can chime in on that answer.

If it wasn't for M/C than I would switch to Honda.
