Default Recommend me an exhaust

'03 954rr with an Art Pro Series II bolt-on. Looks nice, but I know nothing about the can and they do not even seem to have a website, so that is not encouraging.

So I am looking for a system that is not overly expensive, looks good, sounds like a demon and will use the stock headers bet get rid of the HTEV valve or whatever that thing is. Or is that a bad idea?

I do plan to get a PCIII and have the bike tuned for whatever pipe I get.

I have have Two Bros, Jardine, Yoshi and Ixil for my F4i, and they were all pretty cool.

What seems to be the 1/2 or 3/4 system to have for the 954rr?

Thanks!

A local shop near me has a new Scorpion 3/4 carbon fiber oval system for like $500.

Is that a good pipe? Will I need a PCIII with it? I know that Scorpion claims "just fit and go", but I always figured that you need a PCIII to get the most of any bike, even stock.

Ok, just talked to the shop and the pipe they have is the Scorpion high-mount carbon fiber oval GP system, that removes the HTEV.

Do you guys recommend this and am I definitely going to need a PCIII? I know that to get the most out of even a slipon, that you want a PCIII, but will the bike run like crap without it?

With XMas coming on and having to buy other things right now, I can justify the expense of the pipe, but not another $500 for a PCIII and dyno tune.

You want a good pipe? Put the stock **** back on. I forgot how nice a quiet yet nice sounding bike was until I got my new one with stock exhaust. I'll never pipe a bike again.

My scorpion is alittle louder than stock, its more of a deep rumble. I love it, but its on a 929 shouldn't be much differenece.

Put an M4 carbon highmount on my 954 a few months ago, great sound throughout the powerband...
