Rebuilding 2003 954rr I have it completely stripped to the engine was said to have low miles but I noticed a slight knock when I was at idle before dismantling the whole thing any advice on what it could be? Also heard that these bikes have a slight knock all the time is this true? And any other tips of what I need to freshen up while the bike is completely pulled apart besides oil and spark plugs?
and the exhaust was from the idiot before me judge him not me 😂😂

 

First thing I would do is get rid of the swing arm, it looks funky. Second, my only recommendation is to get a factory manual and fallow it by the letter, it's usually the best reference with all torque settings and how things are reassembled properly.
