2002 954RR Won’t Prime. Just replaced fuel pump with brand new OEM Pump. Still nothing??? Thoughts? Couldn’t find anything wrong with kill switch?!

Wasnt exactly sure how to go about bypassing the bank angle sensor? Checked the service manual but not much help there..
any detailed explanations would be very much appreciated. Exp if you have any type of pics/vids etc.
Also wanted to add.. bike has ran fine never a single issue except a battery which is replaced and new now, cranked up as always in two secs rode to store came out went to ride and since then no prime on fuel pump.. thought it was the fuel pump so spent $340 on a whole pump and nope still same issue.

Unplug the 3 wire plug on the BAS and jump the outside wires on the harness with a paperclip or piece of wire.

Does the bike crank over at least?

Kill switch, side stand? Im not sure if they stop it from priming or just starting.

In the manual it says the BAS is under the fuel tank. I just spent two hours trying to locate it and it doesn’t seem to be under the fuel tank. Is it under the head lights? Yes it turns over. It does everything like normal only won’t prime. New fuel pump. New battery. The plug in the back that is supposed to click when you turn it over clicks. No fuses are blown. I’m thinking it’s either the switch or bas only I cannot find where the bas is? Exactly?

In other threads, I have read that it is under the headlight. I am having the same issue, came home, shut off, went back out to start, crank but no puel pump priming.

I had same issue. Replaced the harness and fired right up. While I changing harness I noticed the 3 wires from ignition were mangled. Not sure if this helps but hope it does.

Our issue ended up being the fuel sending unit.
