I do not know how long the guy had the bike butI was pulling into a dealership one day and a guy on a very nice cbr954rr was coming out and goosed it Right in front on me I stopped and watched him slide completely sideways then the back tire hooked and high sided him he landed about 5 feet in front of my bike. He was ok but the whole side of the bike was scratched up. When I went into the dealership I found out he just hadnew tires put on.

 

when people were buying the ram srt10s when he first came the average time before people wrecked one is about 5 days so dont feel too bad... im a novice too but you just cant test your riding skills when youre still learning.. but glad your still around joke around with bro! stay safe man

yea dude i have a friend of mine that bought a brand new zx 10 he asked me to go pick it up for him bc he didnt have a mc license so i went a got it and took it to his house...hr jumped on it and took off just fine then he rode up the street to a stop sign and pulled in the clutch insted on the brake and rolled in front of a sweet *** corvette that hit him...herolled strait over the top of the car and landed on his feet...then persisted to curse the guy that hit him...at that point i jumped on my bike and left...decided that that is not the type of person i want to ride with....but the bike was totalled and i have not spoke to him scince....he was a jackass and was carless about riding...dont be like him and be safe

 

Just remember it could have been worse, you could have been hurt or worse. Just get better and get back on the road ASAP do not let it beat you.

 

Sorry about the wreak, been there and never want to go back. Damage ( total dislocation of left Knee, A/c separation of shoulder, broken hip and pelvis) the bad part going under 40mph!

Just a little update, recovery coming along nicely. Got a follow up for x rays next week. May be walking under own power in 2-3 weeks. Then its back to bike shopping. I'll always be a 954 fan, but thinking about a CBR 600 F4i or even a Kawasaki Ninja EX650R. What do you guys think about the Ninja 650?

 

THEY SUCK.....no they are quick but not the same as a 954

 

like everyone said before, glad u make it out ok lol, could have been worse... if u want another bike get u a RR or some sort of sport 600.. if u get a650 ninjaor somein like that u will get bored easy... if i was u id buy ur 954 back, fix it and ride it... have a nice bike paid for... and if u must, buy u a nice new 600to ride also... have a paid for 954 and brand new 600

but dont feel bad.. my buddy bought a new gsxr 600 and thought he was best rider around since he rode dirt bike as a kid... yea he totaled it.. and i mean TOTALED it within 8 hoursand 200 miles of leavein the dealership that day...
