Default Quick hello, and any recommendations?

Just snapped up a lovely 954 rr3 and this thing blows my old daytona600 straight out the water .great bike. Any recommendations on tyre choice for this bike? current are bt 014 with a 180 on the rear should i switch to a 190?
Also are these early 2000 blades any comparison to the ones from around 2008 onwards?

pilot powers... i really stand by them. great performance, great in the wet, not that expensive. just a great all around street tire.

i currently am running pirelli rosso's - and i wouldn't recomend them to anyone! they're alright in the dry, but, absolutely useless in the wet. i've almost high-sided twice and actually lost the rear and went down (low side) once already in the first 1000 miles - all in the wet, riding cautiously on the street coming home from work. i just can't wait to use them up and get rid of them.

i run 190's on the 954... its the stock size. some people swear by the 180's, but i don't

Same here. I've done more drifting with my Rosso's then I've wanted to. The next tire I put on the bike will be Dunlop Q2's or Pilot Power 2CT's.

I have run Corsa3's and 2ct only until........wait for it......wait.....Pilot Pures! They are simply incredible! They are a little touchy about air pressure. Once you find your zone. You wont look back! I also advise 190 for your rear. Even better.... try out a 55 rather than a 50! Turn in is awesome. I will run a 55 on the street forever now!

I really like my BT016. I accidentally got the 190/55 rear on an auction because I didn't ready the description thoroughly. It does turn-in better than the stock 190/50, but the added rear ride height I didn't care for as much, because its makes me slide forward on the seat into the gas tank. But yes, it is a good match for the 954.
