never seen that scheme before, but i've also never seen a non-oem rework that looks that legit. the one thing that might be the giveaway tho - the shadow on the "RR" is missing.

condition looks good enough from those pics, i would also leave as is.

dings and nicks are going to happen. just imagine how pissed you'll be once you replace them all and in a few months you find nicks and scratches....

Your CBR looks good (in pictures at least) so I wouldn't sweat it to much unless there is a bunch of trouble that we cannot see from the pictures. Best wishes!

I'm digging that. It looks good flip flopped. Do like I did, get the tank repaired and resprayed. Get some vinyl, tape off the tank where you want the end of the "wings", cut it on cardboard, then transfer to vinyl. I got the vinyl for free and did mine. I am extremely picky, and get easily frustrated, but it was simple.

Thanks - yeah i ended jumping on it cause i like the way it looked so much

I've been trying to find someone to knock out the two dents in it but so far nothing

I ended up taking off the front cowl and respraying it which i think came out pretty good as per the pictures.

my next "to-do" on the bike is mess with the front suspension. I have a feeling the settings arent stock - it looks tampered with. So now im going through the service book to get the default settings to put it back to that and then adjust from there

post a picture of it and i'll tell you.

what do your sprockets look like? look down the line of the links from rear sprocket to countershaft sprocket - are there any kinked or stretched links? rust isn't ideal, but in NY, that can happen i'd imagine and a *little* is okay.

where are you at as far as chain adjustments?
