A pc is def worth it if you have a full system and are getting a custom tune.

As far as the flapper, just remove the cables and lace it open like mine is. Also remove the airbox flapper if you haven't already. Last but not least order a servo eliminator module for 30 bucks....

You'll only really see the power/difference with a custom tune. Lots of people are happy with borrowed PC maps for similar setups but a custom tune for your bike would be best. Every bike is different even if the same exhaust/mods are done.

PC and custom map will go hand in hand. I ran the PC3Usb with the supplied map from Dyno jet for about a week. Once I handed her off to my Tuner. He fixed it right! Night and Day difference! The Dyno jet map for my system was a mess. Fuel curve looked like watching deadliest catch with a storm coming in....Even if you have not upgraded your exhaust. I say its worth it...IF!!! you are going to get a custom tune. Mind you. If you do any upgrades after the tune. You will need to do it again. If you are just looking to "wake" the bike up. Try -1/+1 or -1/+2! The gear swap should keep you grinning for awhile.

ya its def worth it. but like everyone has said so far, the only way to get the most out of it is a custom tune. so i'd figure out all your motor mods first then do it. you can get it now and run a dynojet supplied map - it'll feel better than stock, but you won't be getting the goods out of the PC until you custom tune.
