Hey guys....thinking of painting the 954 Pearl White. My question is, what would be a rough estimate on how much this would cost so that I don't go blindly looking and get screwed. I know nothing about paint and how much it costs. Thanks.

 

It all depends, could be anywhere from 500 to over 1000. Call around and get estimates then bring those here and we can tell you no or yes on getting screwed. I paid 800 for mine and that was with them repairing the dent in my tank.

 

$800 to $1000 would be fair price as long as you get a good job done. Material cost are cheap to do pearl white. $150-$200 is all. You should be more concerned with how good a job will be done. I have painted several bikes solid colors for $600-$800,but usually bikes that are beat up and not looking for a perfect job. If I can answer any questions let me know. did you ever get your bike painted cause i was thinking of doin the same but with candy red/ anodized looking graphics on it and would like to know what it cost you if you did

 

Actually no I didn't.....I painted the tank all black and I am going to leave it at that until a future date. Sorry I couldn't help.

 

mines all blacked out and i just hate hand prints on the tank and i just think a pearl white with red anodized levers bar ends chain etc would look sweet i have a friend who said he could paint it and i know he will do a good job i just sometimes dont like mixing friends with money etc that can turn ugly
