So its getting to the point where im just no longer interested in riding. I hardly ride and dont get excited about riding anymore. what do you guys think I can sell mine for? Ill end up throwing in the pitbull stands and jacket/gloves/helmet. All which have about 2 hrs of riding in them.
what!? ahh man, come on! that sucks to no longer want to ride, but you could get a lot of money for that bike. list it high and see what comes up. there was a 954 with a custom paint job on craigslist a few weeks ago listed for $15,000. so i'd thow up a nice high price (6,000 or so), and see what comes back.
damn man, that sucks though. why do you think it is?

I havent been stretched since 08. I have a stock powdercoated swinger....Kit was sold years ago....
As someone who just got into riding last year, it's hard to understand your position...but I'm an older guy and put off riding for much of my life due to fear of my losing self control. Now that I've discovered riding I hope to enjoy it for many years to come. I guess the trick for yourself is to try and figure out the key factors making it less desirable for you to ride now. Once the list is clear in your mind, it will probably become clearer if it's an issue you can deal with or not. Best wishes to you, and thank you for your feedback thus far on my own questions with the 954RR.
Hey it's simple, just move to where there is a lot of twisties.JK.I have thought about that as well and when the time comes and I get board then I'll just walk away.I have been riding for over 27 yrs.and still prefer to ride than caging it.I guess to each there own.
Couple of Track days should change your mind! I can see you totally breaking the bike back down and turning her into a Tracker.........The Hard part would be finding a full suit to go with your new skins!
I am in the same position as you, again... haha. Coming from Northern California I rode every weekend and to work on the weekdays. Here in Mississippi I rode maybe twice this month. I actually put my bike on Craigslist just to see if there was any interest.
When I am settled in my new house I plan to part it out and sell if cheaper.

I've actually have been thinking the same. But if you have alot into it don't expect to get it back. Is the bike worth 6,000 ?? No not on its best day. It is what it is. No matter whats in it. If you get more its because someone like what you have done. If it owes you nothing and you still enjoy it...... then I say hold on to it.... its there when you want it.
