Oil What To Use
Whats up people the nagging oil question, have an 03 954 bought it with 3200 miles on it .It now has 12000 miles ,the last few times i had the dealer change the oil, i have not been using synthetic . Now i have time i'm going to change my own oil , i'm thinking of using amsoil synthetic at 8 bucks a qt. i was told if you switch to a full synt oil you could damage the clutch is there any truth to this. Any recommendations will be helpful.

thanks fellas ended up using Rottelat 5w-40 synth from walmart . Did my research and thanks to city worker who suggested calsci .com site gave me good advise on what oil to use.

AmSoil is superior oil ...
I would use 10w40 and nothing heavier or lighter.....

That oil comparison makes it so tempting to want to use Amsoil! Too bad there are not any shops around here that carry it. I would like to see how the Honda fluids like GN4 and HP4 did on that comparison...
