Sweeeet. Thats hot. Congratulations bro. I hope you enjoy it. Damn man, I didnt wanna seem like I was pestering you about it. So, sorry ifI come offthat way. I just firgured you would be extra happy after being bikeless and all. Plus, everyone knows you on here and I thought you would have shared the news as soon as you got it.
well any new set it going to be better then what i have on there now...a 190 shinko and a 120 dunlop q....came on the bike like that....been trying to pop that shinko but that thing is stuborn as hell. so hope this week when i get the new tires i decide on....on of the stunters in my crew is going to by the shinko for like 30 bucks
tried...even texas road house ( steak place) the waitress and all wanted a burnout so up on the curb me and a buddy went front tire to tire...smoke everywhere
I can't vote either way because I just recently got my 954 and have only had it out once. It's supposed to be cold tomorrow and I will probably ride a little. It came with brand new Dunlop Qualifiers, which seem to be twice as sticky as the Dunlop Sportmax's I have on the FZR, and seem to do pretty well after about 10 minutes warming up.
As I get more of a feel for the bike later in the spring and summer hopefully these tires won't present a problem. I won't be able to afford anything else until 2009. I did test ride another 954 in early October which had Metzeler M3's and it handled great.
I've been running Dunlops for motocross the past coupleyears and all has gone well. I just replaced my MX front with a Pirelli Scorpion, which got rave reviews from friends last year, so of course, very likely Pirelli will be on top of the list as well.
