Default new grips wont fit

Hey guys got some new grips for my bike but the bar ends won't go in as much as they used to. Has this ever happened to anyone? The left one really looks off. I can't tighten the bar ends anymore they just keep going round n round...any ideas?

I'll be taking mine off next week for some upgrades but I haven't had them off yet. However, here's a question: Are both bar ends the same length? Just wondering if the threads on one side are longer than the other and maybe you have the two reversed.

Also, are the new grips the same length as the old ones?

Your throttle grip looks like it needs to be pushed on more. Are you sure you installed the bar end correctly? Most of them lock in place before you tighten them, so you may need to loosen it then spin it around until it drops in place.

right on.... you need to turn the bar end 180 degrees and it will fit into place so that you can go further with the bar end bolt (pull it off and look at it, you'll see what i mean)

yea the throttle grip needs to go in further. try shootin some compressed air in the end of the grip in between it and the throttle tube. works wonders for putting grips on.
