Default New to forum / Question

954RR group - nice to meet you.

New to this forumn. I've got a 2003 954RR. Red/Black paint scheme.

I'm out of Santa Barbara, CA.

I'm gonna be using you speed freaks for loads of advice, so I hope you've got it.

I grew up riding Honda dirt, had a 600 in college, moved out to Cali two years ago and grabbed a 954. I'm not as technical nor am I going to pretend I have the grease monkey skills I would like.

BUT I love goin' fast, I love Honda bikes, and I love my 954. I'll post pictures soon. What do you guys suggest for that?

NOW FOR MY QUESTION:

I recently took off my side turns and put in a new undertail. LED. I transitioned my fronts to small LEDS mounted on the mirror plates. After I wired everything up, I can't get my turn signals (front and back) to blink correctly. They're super fast if you look closely. So fast they look like they're on. Advice? Do I need to connect something to the line like a regulator or diode?

Thanks. Looking forward to this.

Nice. Actually ten minutes after I posted this I clicked on the bikelightz.com link and BAM...load resistors. They're about the same price, a little cheaper.

Thanks. Problem hopefully solved.

no they are wires fine.. you need resistors if you want to slow the blinking down

+1 to resistors. Out of curiosity does anyone know how many ohms the signal lines carry stock?

I can't remember, anyone with stock blinkers can easily get a reading for the forum and post up. I don't have my manual handy at the time I replied. Most others I know off hand.

Rather than pay $20 on ebay or Bikelitez with shipping, I think I might just run down to Radio Shack and get a resistor and just solder it to the line.

I'll let you know if it works.
