Welcome to the CBR Forum Tyler.

I bet you're just itching to get your hands on the CBR Just remember it may have a slightly different power delivery to the RD400 so wear the appropriate gear and keep it upright

Post some pictures of your new ride when you can - we love pictures.

Cheers, SB

If you've never rode a 600 sport bike yet, you need to take it very slow on the 954RR you will get the hang of it and small things down packed on weeks to come. But it will take time, Don't get ahead of yourself or to cocky or you will pay. Good luck with the bike

they're the last of the "comfortable" superbikes imo. with two people, they're pretty easy to ride still. they have enough power and torque for it, that's for sure. take your time. get to know the power band and handling - and you'll love it.

but they can be a real bitch if you don't respect it. enjoy!

I just picked up a 954 last month as well. I had never rode a 600 sportbike either. My previous bike was also a 400....a lot of similarities you and I, haha. Anyway, the 954 is a friggin beast compared to any 400....and that is putting it mildly. It is easy to ride, but it is even easier to let yourself get cocky with. Don't do that...you will crash. Learn the bike slowly like I am and you will be fine. It's an awesome bike, you will love it!

Its a great bike. I have no passenger seat or foot pegs on mine...I have other motorcycles better suited for riding 2 up. The 954 is for me to be selfish with.
