After alot of thought and beating this to death. I'm just gonna bite the bullet and buy a Hot Bodies undertail. I just won't be happy unless it looks right. Now.... who's got the best deal. I hear its a PITA to install.

they still make flushmounts that use an incadescent bulb. i have a pair that i can give you if you want

they look like this

that picture is not mine, but they look just like that. they're 2 wire (so no running light), they don't have plugs , so you'd have to splice them or butt connector them, but they do work, i just checked them on a battery.

and they mount really really easy. all you have to do is unscrew the back plastic collar, stick light through fairing, screw back on plastic collar on inside of fairing until it's tight around the fairing. works great, it'll flash just as normal (not enhanced as with an LED). they look really good (especially compared to the stockers).

$10 shipped if you want them. PM me if you want

Did you guys work out a deal? If not, Id like to buy those Conrice if thats allright. lmk, thnx

You will enjoy the Hotbodies. The Hardest part is getting the OEM tailsection off. A Dremmel will help with the cutting on the stock tray. Make smaller cuts as you test fit until everything lines up! Just take your time with it and it will turn out perfect!

Quick question guys. If I lets say go with some single or dual filliment signals instead of LED's will I need to do resistors or will this be plug and play??? Looking at some Lockhart Phillips units???

should be plug-n-play. single filament bulbs will only be signal while duals will be running lights as well, but you can use the duals as singles as long as you dont hook up the extra wire.
