Please find out because I would be interested...
+++1 on the gear and sliders. My first bike is a 929, and so far so good with 2000 miles.

One safe trick is to grip the relaxed throttle with your wrist slighly low - if the bike yanks you, your wrist can only straighten and chop the power, get what I mean? Not the most comfortable grip, but it could help in the beginning til you get used to the power. If you grab it wrist high and the bike tugs at you, you can accidentally add more throttle, and then you're standing in the street with no bike.

Ride safe. Great lookin bike.
Did somebody take the msf course??? sixs929...you keen sob!

They teach you exactly that in the course... ride with your wrist a little bit cocked upwards basically so your hand and your wrist make a V shape... that way when you grip the throttle you have to move your wrist a little bit uncomfortably downwards which will prevent you from over throttling the bike... also when you get nervous and just jerk the throttle (which is bound to happen at least once) you won't get thrown off the bike...

Another thing, take the MSF class as soon as you can, but be prepared to wait for it because a lot of them are filled up weeks even months in advance, but it will be the best thing you'll ever do and keep you riding safe and smart. I know people who have been riding for 20 years that could benefit from taking the class because even if you know what you're doing it can be a great refresher.

Finally, and most importantly, always ALWAYS wear full gear. No matter how hot it is outside, no matter how many people are out riding in t-shirts and shorts, no matter how big a rush you are in, put on all your pads... it could save your life.

Oh and don't do wheelies in the rain.

Fellas, I took my first ride with a group today. I had such a good time, and learned so much from the other riders. I wasnt ****ing up, but the other riders were so patient, and understanding that I was a new rider. I saw for the first time how all riders greet each other in passing. that was so cool to me. Funny but I rode with a group called Ladies First from Augusta , Ga. 3 of them were riding Hayabusas. All tricked out too. Anyway, I was considering buying some pigspotter mirrors for my bike. What do yall think? Do they compliment the bike well, and do they provide good rear vision? Holla back
