When you pull the stator cover off, check to see if the block is cracked as well.
These stator covers look neat - Honda CBR954 Engine Parts Covers

929 stator cover won't work - 954 stator won't bolt into it.

ya, there's motor oil behind that cover - the flywheel - which you'll see right behind it - rides on the crank.

Sweet, got a quote, $250 for the cover plus labor and oil. Not bad at all, unless theres more damage

what??? dude, do that yourself!

you can do the whole thing for the cost of a cover off ebay and a gasket! no need to pay $250.

seriously dude, it's easy. it's just a bitch to get off because it's magnetized, do it yourself!

DO WORK.

think about the other cool stuff you can buy with the money you saved!

How did he crash it? That was a nice bike man. Sad to see it go down, I wish you had some sliders on it before

I know man, I wish I could but I lack the know-how and tools. I dont want to stuff it up and pay the price when Im riding.

Anything cosmetic Ill play around with but not mechanical. I might get another cheaper bike to play around with (take it apart and try to put it back together). When I get the confidence, Ill start doing my own work on the 954.

not long till I get her back
