Hey guy's , I finally got to take her out on some good weather over the weekend, This was the first time I really push her hardand she felt good ! but compared to my old 93 cbr 900rr ,I was expecting a huge difference ,but then again I had kehin flat slide racing carbs with no air box and a full hindle exhaust on my old cbr. can anyone tell me about the flapper mod on the 954? I heard that is one good start. thanks

you could purchase an ignition retarder for around 50$ from dennis kirk will retard 4 pts to increase midrange and go with a vortex 520 conversion( a must if you have to replace your chain soon anyways)
good luck.

RE: MORE WARP SPEED
hows about any sprocket but vortex. ive heard a lot of complaints about them. had them myself and will never buy again. unless your Racer X that can get his lap times w/in a few miliseconds or 1/4 times consistant every run you prolly wont ever tell the difference in alum and steel rear sprockets. except the fact youll be replacing them and the chain every 5-10k miles.
p.s. the front sprocket on mine was wearing out very fast as well. it too was vortex.
i put a driven steel rear on my 929 jsut recently so i have yet to see how it holds up.
