marker lights above the headlight

RE: marker lights above the headlight
Just did it yesterday, ironically! Super easy. Go to your local parts store and buy some 194 light sockets and amber bulbs (you can also find LED versions). The socket I found were off white, so I spray painted them black prior to install so they don't stick out like a sore thumb. I just used an Xacto knife and carefully cut the boss, first making the large hole, then making the 4 keyways. Just take your time, the plastic is pretty easy to cut. Just cut and test fit the socket, and remember that a tight fit is better so don't take off too much. I didn't even take the headlamps off to do it, just be really careful with the shavings, and use a shop vacuum to suck out any that fall in. You can always take the lamp off and shake them out. I just spliced in a dogleg off my main blinker pigtails, and loomed them up (my brow lights function as blinkers only). Now can somebody tell me how to make the display read out on the fly MPG like the Euro blades do??

RE: marker lights above the headlight
whats up
Jus installed the brow lights ,was a piece of cake and the look damn good. As for purdyboy question 194 is a marker light bulb a small bulb used for indicators and intrment panels. The bulb slides into a socket made for that style and size of bulb here in the states i found both at my local auto parts store. Thanks gearhead for the info on a simple but great looking upgrade.
