My 2002 954 check engine light is on. I checked the code and cross referenced the service manual. The code is for the map sensor. Will replacing the map sensor w/ a brand new one fix the problem? Has anyone ever had similar problems?

 

Should fix it but I would also check for any loose wires that may have caused the light to come on.Never has happened to me though.

 

My check engine light when on for the map sensor, found out it was only loose wires.

 

How can you tell the code if the light is on solid?
