I have a 03 954 and just bought a lowering link(1-3inches). When I take off the old link do I have to worry about anything with the shock? Does it need to stay compressed or anything? I don't think it does but I wanna make sure. I am 5' 10" also, should I go 2 or 3?By the way, this website is great!

 

no you do not need to compress the shock i wouldnt go any lower than 2

 

im 6 5 and i lowered mine 2 in the back and 1 and ahalf in the front rode amazing...in my eyes

 

just make sure u have a support under the motor as to take the bolt out.
