Default lowering link

i have 9 screws in my left wrist and i was wondering if a lowering link would help me from leaning foward so much on the bike. i was thinking maybe an inch or two but how would lowing the rear affect the handling.i love my 954 but i just want to make it a lil more comfortable for when i really ride. what do you guys recommend 1" or 2" and how will those heights affect the handling?

Lowering the bike will not do your wrist any good. you need to get your body in a more upright position. The stock clip ons are adjustable, see if they are raised all the way up already. If not look into heli bars to get some lift. I think that would be the most benefit to you. It does take away a bit of the handling though, but not a ton.

You can try softening the rear shock, when my bike was lowered and stretched it was two inches in the rear and 1 in the front. Now im trying to get used to the stock feeling again....and loving it
