Default light smoke from exhaust

Recently bought a sweet 954 rr 2003 . The location where it was purchased from was in the mountains in N.C i live in charlotte. When i start it there is light smoking coming from the exhaust till it warms up . Could the location have anything to do with this maybe the mixture has to be adjusted . Any suggetions on fixing this.

Mine puffs a very light smoke until it warms up. I think it's just the bike enriching the air / fuel mix for easier starting and it stays that way until it's up to operating temp. After that I get no smoke at all.

Notice we don't have a choke.... the bike is doing it for us.

A lot of what you see is moisture being evaporated out of the system. All combustion engines produce moisture, if you put a piece of paper next to your exhaust it will eventually get wet. Its natural and you have nothing to worry about, the reason it goes away after it warms up is because all the moisture has evaporated. Have you ever seen water drip out of a tail pipe of a car or truck? Same thing happens with a bike except all the moisture gets trapped in the system because the exhaust is mounted pointing upwards, thats why you see so much the next day when you start it up.
