Default license plates

me and several of my buddies have our plates mounted on the swingarm.first problem is joe law doesnt like it. we have all gotten tickets for this. second problem is i have a hotbodies undertail kit and cant mount my plate back there cuz itll cover up turn signals. anybody have some creative ideas that may still be legal?

Some of my friends have their licence plates on the undertail close to the passenger footpegs .. never had a problem with the law ... and if we did .. we just flip the licence plate and split

p.s. u might have a problem with the rear tire touching the licence plate soyourgotta have to bend it

yeah i originally had mine up there but with me and my girl on the bike you could barely see the plate. got pulled over for that one too. cop said to move it somewhere else. [sm=signs006.gif]

Id love to help since i have a similar undertail, but alas i just go without a plate myself since i could not find a spot i liked for it.

I put mine all the way at the bottom in the caved in area. Clearly visible fro mthe rear.The police here said as long as they could see it when behind me, it should be fine. That is here in Columbia County Ga though. Good luck

I just keep my plate in my seat storage, when a cop asks, I say "It kept falling off because the screws were loose, I am going to get new ones right now".....I am not saying to lie..

Or you could duct tape it to the back of your jacket.
