Let's slow things down . . . BRAKES Q
EBC HH / EBC Organic / Galfer / EGR ?!?!?!?! TO MANY OPTIONS!!!
I took off my wheels for the first time tonight for a sprocket, chain, and tire change to only discover a serious lack of pads on ALL THE BRAKES. Therefore, I need pad and fast. However, I can't decide what to go with.
So, I turn to my fello 54' brothers. The rotors look good (no grooves) but I will be purchasing a set of Galfer waves with SS braided lines this winter. (Can't afford them now). So, I will stick with the stock lines and rotors for now and need a pad to accomidate the stock set up.
My style of riding is weekday commuter/weekend throwback hard hitter/slight stunta who likes to do stoppies. LOTS OF STOPPIES. What can I say, I'm a bit of a showoff. What do I need guys?
TK, it's obvious you are no stranger to the occasional stoppie. What are you running?

My setup is EBC HH sintered metal pads in the front. They stop on a dime, one finger endos. They are a bit noisy during break in, but only lasts a few days.
Rears i also have the EBC, but the organic, otherwise you run a risk of locking up the rear tooeasy with the hh's
Galfer SS lines all around.
Rotors are still the stockers for now, i just machined them when i changed pads this spring.
IMO these pads are far better thenstock replacement.
