Leaking motor oil

Leaking motor oil
I low-sided my 2002 954 about 2 years ago. It literally shatterd the strator cover on the left side and cracked the block a little. So I tried fixing it by using this liquid metal that the AF uses on it's jets. It seemed to worked perfectly cause one it dries it is indestructable. So what the problem you ask.... I didnt clamp the piece that was crack together to make it as good as new. So when I bought a new strator cover it was not a perfect fit. it did go on though, but now I have an extremly slow leak down by the oil pan. I think the motor block was cracked and I failed to notice this. Is this a serious problem? Can it be fixed or do I need a new motor? If so is it an expensive fix? Or can I just keep riding it like nothing? Mind you ever since it happened and I "fixed" it I have been riding this bike like nothing and I have never had a problem. I had a friend that had a similar incedent with his 929 but he used some store bought sealant and never had a problem. What do ya'll think?

RE: Leaking motor oil
IVE SEEN PICTURES OF THE OIL PAN AND DIDNT SEE A GASKET FOR THE OIL PAN(ATLEAST I DONT THINK MY MIND WAS PLAYIN TRICKS ON ME!), SO IM GUESSIN THEY USED A SEALANT FOR THE OIL PAN. IF YOU CAN VERIFY THE LEAK COMIN FROM THE OIL PAN I WOULD SUGGEST DROP THE PAN, CLEAN THE ARE WHERETHE NEWGASKET IS GONNA BEMADE,USE RTV OR GASKET MAKER OR THE COMBINATION OF BOTH, BOLT IT BACKUP AND LET DRY BEFORE YOU FILL THE BIKE WIT OIL. JUST WHAT I THINK DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE HONDA FACTORY PART SCHEMES DIDNT INDICATE A GASKET, BUT IM SURE THERE WILL BE MORE RESPONSES OUT THERE FOR U IN THE NEXT DAY. HOPE THIS HELPS. AND GOOD LUCK HOPEFULLY THE REALIABLE 954 ENGINE DOESNT NEED REPLACING.
