Default kn air filter

this has been debated before i know but---will it make more power than the stock?---im about to hook up the usb power commander???-----with a erion-bolt-on ti can???

I don't think the k&n will make any more power than the stock one.
Do the flapper modd.

I have read the flapper mod does nothing.

I have read several times here that on a dyno the K&N will actually cost you a hp or two. I don't know. I just got a BMC street filter to drop in mine but haven't done it yet.

I'm also debating doing the flapper mod while I'm in there but I don't know if I will or not. Anyone think it's worth doing?

The flapper mod is free an easy to do.
I've read where it adds 1 to 3 hp down low, an better low to mid range tq.

if you are goin to do mods.. to make them really work.. get a pcIII and get a CUSTOM TUNE,

I say if you want more power, get a camshaft.

I guess it can't hurt I'll probably to on and stick the flapper down when I swap the filter.

I'm running a PCIII but I just have a downloaded tune for the Two Brothers slip on and stock/K&N filter. I'll get it tuned right some day. Mainly I wanted the PCIII just to smooth out the throttle. It's way less
jumpy now.

camshaft isn't a bad idea. not alot of people do that
