Default just got a new 954

Proud newowner of a STOCK 2003 cbr954 .. looking to put mods on it dont know where to start any suggestions

sounds expensive .. what am i looking at .. i mean i'm not gonna do all this all at once but .. i know i want a damper and a slip on pipe( make and model is still unknown) but after that is done .. what to do .. i know i'm gonna need more power to keep up with my friends .. they all got 1000's and last summer i ate dust on my 900rr 1998.

you should be able to keep up with your friends with the 954 seeing as how i can keep up with a busa

If you ate dust on your 900RR you might want to invest in a riding school instead of more power. That will make WAY more difference.

dont think so gixxie .. the 900 would choke on me as soon as i reached 260kms dont know how many miles that amounts to and by choke i mean completely shut down .. so the rider aint the problem here .. but thanks anyway for your imput

You could always go down a sprocket in front to help you get off the line better.

Interesting I didn't know about the sproket thing .. thanks for the info i'll get more imput on that

anytime you change up the teeth on the sprocket your spedometer will be off...if you go down on the front or the back your acceleration increases but you lose top speed...and if you go up in the front or back you lose acceleration but gain top speed

I just did the flapper mod the other daythats easy power right there... takes less than an hour and costs NOTHING...

Best purchase: PCIII with a CUSTOM TUNE (Can I get an amen BobJoe?) will do the most for your bike
